All you have to do is head east on SR520, go over the Merritt Island Causeway, which spans the beautiful Indian River, and you’ll find yourself smack dab in the middle of a shopper’s paradise that includes the Merritt Square Mall. This mall has much to offer, including large department stores as well as intimate, lovely boutiques. You’ll have no trouble fulfilling your shopping fix with department stores like Sears, Dillard’s, Macy’s, and JC Penney, as well boutique shops like Bath & Body Works, Merle Norman, Natural Mystique, Trade Secret, and many more. Historic Downtown Melbourne

Downtown Melbourne is another historic site on Florida’s beautiful Space Coast. The Avenue Viera

The Avenue Viera is Brevard County’s premier shopping experience and is home to many different popular stores such as Old Navy, Bed Bath and Beyond, World Market, Belk, Sports Authority, Kohl’s, Coldwater Creek, Books-a-Million, Kay Jeweler’s, and many others. The Avenue Viera is very easy to get to. It’s just a short 15-minute trip south on I-95 from Maplewood Village. While you’re there, you can check out a movie at the RAVE theatres. After the movie, you can stop into one of several dining options such as Chili’s, Mimi’s Café, the Melting Pot, Pizza Gallery, Five Guys, LongHorn Steakhouse, and Steak ‘n Shake. The shopping center also hosts a monthly Radio Disney event for kids – great for taking the grandchildren too!

Melbourne Square Mall

Fifteen minutes south of the Avenue Viera is the newly renovated Melbourne Square Mall, a staple for shopping in Brevard County for over 25 years. Renovations included a revamped food court and a whole wing with a Dick’s Sporting Goods. But that’s not all. Melbourne Square Mall offers shopping opportunities at other department stores like JC Penney, Macy’s, and Dillard’s. A great feature to this mall is the full size salons at each end. The Mall at Millenia in the heart of Orlando had its grand opening in 2002 to much excitement and fanfare.
